In this special feature, we sit down with Alisha Singh, Miss Celebd January 2025, to delve into her journey, her values, and her vision for the future. As a pioneer in fashion content creation from Bihar, Alisha’s story is one of authenticity, passion, and resilience. Here’s an excerpt from our inspiring conversation.

Alisha Singh is a trailblazing content creator and fashion influencer who began her journey as a journalism student with a passion for styling. Hailing from Bihar, she became the first to launch a YouTube channel dedicated to fashion and lifestyle from the state. Today, as Miss Celebd January 2025, Alisha inspires thousands with her authentic storytelling and unwavering dedication to her craft.

Celebd: Alisha, your journey into content creation is truly inspiring. Can you share how it all began and what motivated you to take this path?
Alisha: My journey started during the first year of my bachelor’s degree in journalism. I’ve always had a deep passion for fashion and styling, and what began as a creative outlet quickly evolved into something much bigger. I launched Bihar’s first YouTube channel dedicated to fashion and lifestyle, which felt groundbreaking at the time. Within just a few years, I had 10,000 subscribers, and that milestone gave me the confidence to pursue content creation full-time. By the time I graduated, I had decided to turn my passion into my profession.
Celebd: What is the driving force behind the content you create on platforms like YouTube and Instagram?
Alisha: At the heart of it all is my genuine love for creating. Whether it’s long-form content on YouTube or Instagram reels, it’s the joy of sharing my life authentically that drives me. I believe the key to building a genuine connection with my audience is being unapologetically real. I’ve never tried to portray a picture-perfect life; instead, I share the struggles, doubts, and challenges because those moments are relatable. Authenticity is the foundation of my work, and I think that’s why my audience resonates with my content.
Celebd: The glamour industry often emphasizes success. What’s your perspective on that?
Alisha: I’ve always believed that happiness and authenticity matter more than the illusion of success. Success only feels meaningful when it aligns with who you genuinely are. The industry can sometimes glamorize a facade, but I’ve focused on sharing my reality—flaws and all. This approach has helped me build a community that values not just the highlights but also the lessons learned along the way.

Celebd: You’ve collaborated with several brands throughout your journey. How do you ensure authenticity in these partnerships?
Alisha: Collaborations come with a responsibility. I’m committed to promoting only those brands and products that I genuinely use and believe in. When a brand approaches me, I never rush into creating content. My team and I take time—usually a week or two—to thoroughly test the products. This ensures that I can stand by every recommendation I make. Authenticity is non-negotiable for me, and I see it as my duty to maintain the trust I’ve built with my audience.
Celebd: What’s your process for creating content that resonates with both you and your audience?
Alisha: It’s all about finding the balance between what excites me creatively, what my audience wants to see, and what’s currently trending. Passion is the foundation—if I’m not genuinely invested in what I’m creating, it’s unlikely to connect with others. At the same time, I pay close attention to feedback and trends, adapting them to suit my style while staying true to my voice.
Celebd: Your team plays a crucial role in your journey. Can you tell us more about their contribution?
Alisha: I’m incredibly fortunate to have a team of talented individuals. My videographer and editor bring my vision to life, while my business manager handles brand negotiations. What makes us unique is our collective creativity. For example, my manager once suggested a series called “Dressing Like My Instagram Followers.” It turned out to be a game-changer!

Celebd: What advice would you give to aspiring creators, especially during the early stages of their journey?
Alisha: Passion is what sets you apart. In the beginning, there are no immediate rewards—financial or otherwise. The only thing that keeps you going is the vision of building a life that aligns with your dreams. Passion fuels resilience, especially when progress feels slow. Over time, you realize your audience is what truly makes you. Their support gives meaning to your efforts and reminds you why you started.
Celebd: How do you maintain creativity and authenticity while protecting your mental well-being?
Alisha: Staying true to yourself is essential. Pretending to be someone you’re not or fitting into an image that doesn’t align with you can be exhausting. Authenticity not only helps build a genuine connection with the audience but also ensures that you stay grounded. For me, this journey is about more than building a career—it’s about crafting a life that reflects who I am. When you lead with passion and authenticity, the rewards are far more fulfilling.
Celebd: Your journey is a testament to passion and purpose. What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned along the way?
Alisha: The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that your passion is your greatest asset. It’s what keeps you going during tough times and makes your journey meaningful. When you build a life rooted in authenticity and creativity, everything else falls into place. At the end of the day, it’s about creating a career and a life that aligns with your values and brings you happiness.
