Dhwani Bansal, one of the 24 Faces of Celebd 2024, is a trailblazer in the world of jewelry design. With a passion for storytelling and a deep connection to culture, nature, and history, Dhwani has carved a niche for herself, blending tradition and innovation to craft timeless pieces.
Her label, Dhwani Bansal Jewellery, goes beyond adornment—it’s a platform for empowering artisans, celebrating heritage, and inspiring social change.
Let’s explore her creative journey and what makes Dhwani a deserving face of Celebd in 2024.
From Bangalore to Boston: A Dream Comes Alive
Dhwani’s journey began in Bangalore, where her entrepreneurial roots and fascination with design were shaped by the city’s jugaad culture. Her creative path flourished at Central Saint Martins (CSM) in London, a global hub for art and design, where her talent received recognition from industry leaders.
“My first collection, inspired by a year spent in Rajasthan, was featured at the Degree Show. Seeing contemporary Indian-inspired designs appreciated on a global stage gave me the confidence to establish my label,” she recalls.
Returning to India, Dhwani launched her jewelry brand in 2016, blending Indian aesthetics with a modern, global sensibility.
Drawing Inspiration from Nature and Heritage

Dhwani’s designs are deeply rooted in nature, architecture, and cultural storytelling. Her collections are known for their meticulous craftsmanship and meaningful narratives.
“I’m captivated by the recurring patterns in history, science, and art. For example, my Resolve collection was inspired by Rajasthan’s intricate Islamic-Rajput architecture, while my latest collection, White Space, reflects the minimalist elegance of museum curation.”
Dhwani’s ability to weave these influences into her designs has earned her a reputation for originality and innovation.
A Pivotal Moment of Recognition
Being named one of the 24 Faces of Celebd 2024 marks a significant milestone in Dhwani’s career. This recognition celebrates her ability to create art that transcends boundaries, blending tradition with a contemporary aesthetic.
Her Resolve collection, featuring seven sculptural bracelets inspired by Rajasthan’s frescoes and minarets, is a testament to her talent for telling powerful stories through jewelry.
Balancing Creativity with Business
Behind Dhwani’s artistic brilliance is a strong entrepreneurial foundation co-led by her mother and business partner, Anuradha Bansal.
“Our partnership is my biggest strength. While I focus on design, Anuradha ensures the business runs smoothly. Together, we navigate the complexities of the creative and commercial worlds,” Dhwani shares.
Global Reach and a Vision for the Future

Relocating to Boston has opened new opportunities for Dhwani’s brand, allowing her to straddle both Indian and international markets.
“Boston’s mix of modernity and quaint charm has influenced my creative direction. While staying rooted in my heritage, I’m exploring new inspirations and global collaborations,” she says.
Dhwani also emphasizes design for social change, working closely with artisans to provide education, preserve traditional techniques, and create sustainable livelihoods.
Inspiring the Next Generation
As a face of Celebd, Dhwani hopes to inspire budding designers to embrace authenticity and conscious creativity.
“The future of design lies in individuality, mindfulness, and slow living. It’s an exciting time to experiment, innovate, and create something meaningful.”

Since its launch, Dhwani Bansal Jewellery has grown to include studios in Bangalore and Boston, with plans to expand further. As she continues her journey, Dhwani aims to explore fine jewelry, artifacts, and social impact initiatives, pushing the boundaries of design and craftsmanship.
