Celebd: Tell us about your incredible journey from France to India. What brought you to Mumbai?

Fiona: I fell in love with India while watching reports on television. I made my first trip to New Delhi in 2017 and Mumbai in 2018, and that’s when I met my ex-boyfriend.

Celebd: How did you adapt to the cultural shift from France to India?

Fiona: We never truly adapt. Every country has its culture, and we can’t completely leave ours behind, especially food. But I learned to respect Indian culture and wear a sari when I had the opportunity.

Fiona: I have my own style. I don’t follow any trends.

Fiona: I started in 2023, so I don’t have much experience, but the most unforgettable experience was in New York.

Fiona: I faced criticism about my weight, and some people spoke to me differently, thinking I wasn’t mature because of my youthful appearance. But it’s 2024, and the industry is changing. I conquered it by embracing the new standards.

Fiona: France is completely different from India. French models are of all ethnicities, with a focus on African women. They tend to be very thin, tall, and appear much older. However, some brands in France are embracing curvy models.

Fiona: Unfortunately, I’ve encountered over twenty scams related to acting. So, I’m not interested or motivated to avoid more traps. That’s why I’m focusing on fashion.

Fiona: Modeling is like a game for me, something I enjoy.

Celebd: Bollywood or Hollywood? Which industry tempts you more, and why?

Fiona: Neither at the moment. The scams created a bad experience. I’m not looking to get into acting, and if people contact me, I can turn them down because I haven’t met anyone honest.

Fiona: It’s quite difficult and sometimes stressful, but I can handle it.
